Avatar size too small

Tried to put an avatar, but it says max 90x90 pixels, 6Kb. Well, at 90x60, my image was very small, and still 12kb. I reduced it all the way to 30 x 30 pixels, about 1/4" and was still too big. I guess we can't use real pix, just a graphic? If so, you might want to put some to pick from.

I've increased the maximum to 120 by 120 pixels. Let's see how that works for you.

The 90-by-90 setting is the phpBB default setting for avatars.

I am also faced with an inability to post an avatar that I show as under 5 KB, and the site sees it as over 8KB and won't accept it. For me, this is not a good start. I have had no problem with this same photo elsewhere.

I suggest you try uploading your avatar once again, following the on-screen prompts closely. I can see no reason why you would have a problem, as others are setting up their avatars without a hitch.
