Bridge clearance on the Great Loop is a question that often comes up. Here's the lowdown as posted by Alan Lloyd on Great Loop List:

Here is the info you requested:

Erie & Oswego Canals: Bridge clearance is 20 feet. There is normally one foot of extra clearance.
Erie Canal west of Three Rivers Junction: 15.5 feet
Trent-Severn Waterway: 22 feet
Rideau Chambly Champlain Loop: 17 feet on Champlain Canal then 22 feet until Chicago
Chicago downtown: 17 feet
Chicago by-pass route: Lowest Bridge on the entire Great Loop is charted as 19.1 feet. There is normally one foot of extra clearance.
