What are you plans from cruising this year in the waters from Oregon to Alaska? Share your plans here and who knows whom you will encounter where during the 2010 season.

We're going to Montague for the C-Brats gathering in August and will probably stick around after that in the Gulf Islands for a week or so. May go fishing out of Sooke on another trip. Other than that, this summer we will probably stay in the San Juans. Hoping to do Alaska out of Prince Rupert next summer.

We highly recommend the fireworks as viewed from Fisherman Bay, LopezIsland, on the Fourth of July. Plan to attend the salmon bake and view the very quaint Island Parade. Don't forget to wave at all the paasersby.

We live in Victoria, and will be heading to Seattle Apr 29 for the Seattle Yacht Club Opening Day week, then on to Roche Harbor May 08 for the first Pacific Trawler rendezvous in many years.

However, after last year's terrific Royal Victoria Yacht Club cruise through the Broughton Islands to Ocean Falls and Fjordland (a couple of hundred miles south of Prince Rupert), the big trip this year is a counter-clockwise circumnavigation of Vancouver Island. We leave July 01 and aim to arrive back in Victoria Harbour for the annual Symphony Splash.

We're planning on going up around the corner in early July and starting in the South Sound to visit friends at Swantown for a few days, then North. No real plans except we'll probably stay in the San Juans until late August then back to the Columbia River. This is assuming we'll not see $4.50 fuel this summer.

Saratoga Sue will be leaving Oak Harbor, WA on or about 1 June heading for southeast Alaska. We made the Alaska trip in the same boat in 2005 and did northern BC in subsequent years. Our intent is to spend all of June, July and August doing the round trip.
